After living away from the Yuba Sutter area for 9 years, I found myself living back in the area. I began to go on walks with my parents along the Feather River’s levee, the river bottoms and along the Feather River the years following my return. Although I grew up in the area, I had never explored these parts until my return.
These photographs represent to me a valuable time of growth in my life where I was able to explore alongside my parents the beauty of new spaces within a familiar place that I call home.
